Making Quit Happen

Quitting smoking is not only one of the most important things you can do for yourself, it can also be one of the most challenging. The certified respiratory educators at The Lung Association can help you prepare to quit smoking, learn what to expect when you do quit, and help you stay a non-smoker. A recent caller was so pleased with the help she received from Diane Feldman, a certified respiratory educator at The Lung Association, that she wrote us a thank-you letter.

She wrote “She gave me the incentive and some positive ideas on how to break my habit...I could hear Diane’s voice in my head encouraging me to stop reaching for a smoke.”

In support of your efforts to quit, ask for our new free booklet “Making Quit Happen”. It’s loaded with tips and strategies to help make your quit attempt a success.
It is also important to make your home smoke-free at all times. Ask for our “Steps to Make Your Home Smoke-Free” pamphlet.

If you have any questions or to order these free materials, call The Lung Association’s helpline at 1-888-344-LUNG (5864) or visit here.
