Question & Answer

Q: My asthma doesn't bother me much, so why should I take medicines every day?

A: Even mild asthma often requires daily medicine. But if you have mild asthma, it's usually a lower dose. You will need a daily controller medicine if you have mild symptoms most of the time. If you only have occasional mild symptoms, less than three times a week, then you probably don’t need daily medicines. Ask your doctor what's best for you.
